Career

Build a service crew and buy your own vehicles to earn Credits (CR) and compete against AI and the rest of the DiRT community.

Championships: Complete events against AI and race your way up to the Elite Championship.

Custom Championships: Create your own Championships to decide on event lengths and AI difficulty.

Online Events: Compete in timed Daily, Weekly and Monthly Events against DiRT players from around the world.

PVP Events: Battle door to door in RallyX events live against other players.

Team Management

When you start your team you’ll have a limited budget, which will be enough to cover an entry level car and an entry level Engineer. As you complete Events in Career you’ll earn credits (CR), which can be spent on expanding your team, improving your personnel, and buying new cars.

Crew Chief: Your Crew Chief is the first person in your service crew, and in the beginning is the only person that can repair your car. Your Crew Chief will improve as you complete events.

Engineers: Like your Crew Chief, Engineers have a set of 10 skills that relate to the damage your cars can suffer while out on stage. Hire Engineers that cover weaknesses in your vehicles.

Perks: Perks reduce the development time for upgrades on vehicles that you own. They come in a variety of categories, including Vehicle Class, Drivetrain, Vehicle Manufacturer and Vehicle Manufacturer Nation.

Contracts: You’ll pay your Engineers based on contracts, which are paid for with credits. The better the Engineer, the more expensive the contract. Contracts last for a set number of stages, and you’ll need to make sure your staff are all paid up before you enter an Event.

Other Modes

Leagues: Leagues allows us to hand the keys over to you as players, and configure your own time based events to compete in together. Head to DiRTGame.com to Create or Join a League.

Custom Event: All tracks and cars available in this mode. Test drive all of the content in the game and hone your skills without worrying about CR or managing your team.

Co-Driver Notes

During Rally events your Co-driver calls out a description of the road ahead. Icons appear on screen to support these calls.

Corner Description: For example ‘Left Six’. The number indicates the severity of the corner, from 6 (fastest) to 1 (slowest). ‘Square’, ‘Hairpins’ and ‘Acute’ are also called when corners are 90 degrees or tighter.

Distances: For example ‘Eighty’. The distance in meters to the next corner or hazard. Where corners are close to each other the notes are strung together using the terms ‘into’ or ‘and’.

Hazard: For example ‘Over Crest’ or ‘Narrows’. ‘Don’t Cut’ means a potentially hidden danger lies on the inside of the corner.
