Four incredible cars from the world’s most famous manufacturers, purpose-built for all-terrain action, come to DIRT 5 alongside brand new content for multiple modes, including our latest drop of themed Playground items to create custom racing arenas with. There’s also more free content for all players, too! Let’s take a closer look...
ENERGY CONTENT PACK - NEW CARS, NEW CAREER EVENTS, NEW SPONSORS
Legends of the American and European automotive scenes are represented in the four new cars coming to DIRT 5 via the Energy Content Pack. West of the Atlantic, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra Pre-Runner burst onto the scene – two trucks with immense power, adapted to survive the most extreme conditions. To the east, we find the eye-catching Alpine A110 Sports X – an experimental effort by the iconic French manufacturer, combining sportiness and ruggedness to conquer all routes. The same can be said of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, a revolutionary electric monster, generating well over 700bhp to mix futuristic power with precision engineering – perfect to let loose around DIRT 5’s varied global routes.
All four cars are playable in all game modes – including in Career, where we’re adding another 25 bespoke events for you to take on, many of which using classes which feature the four new cars in DIRT 5. Head to Brazil, New York, South Africa, Nepal and more destinations to take part in new scenarios, including dynamic and extreme weather conditions to overcome. Two new exclusive sponsor options will also be available in Career - Xite and MadCroc - and completing the new events when signed to these sponsors will unlock new personalisation items, such as bespoke liveries, stickers, lanyards, and custom livery editor options.
FREE JUNKYARD PLAYGROUNDS CONTENT
They say one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, right? It’s time to prove that with DIRT 5’s latest batch of objects to use in Playgrounds – our groundbreaking new mode where players create, share and discover custom racing arenas.
In this update comes over 20 new items to get creative with – from scrap metal, crushed cars and tyre stacks, to cranes, bulldozers and even our huge scrap-built dinosaur sculpture, we’re bringing you more ways to make your racing arenas unique, challenging and awe-inspiring. Whether you’re smashing into washing machines, spinning around in a shed, or racing toward a finish gate covered in flames, the Junkyard Playgrounds items are yours to use.
The new Playgrounds items are available to use in Create mode for designing arenas, and any uploaded Playground that features these new items will be available for all players to race on.
The Junkyard Playgrounds Pack is free for all players and will be automatically added to your game when downloading the new update! The Energy Content Pack is FREE for DIRT 5 Amplified Edition owners, and anyone who owns DIRT 5’s Year One Upgrade. For all other players, the packs can be purchased separately on the Steam, Xbox and PlayStation stores for £9.99/€11.49/$12.49.
FREE DIRT 5 CONTENT FOR ALL PLAYERS
On top of all that, we're adding some more free content for you to try out, show off and spark your creativity with Update 3.00. In Playgrounds mode, check out the first new location for your custom racing arenas: Italy!
Joining Arizona and South Africa, and available in clear or snowy conditions, get creative with a blank canvas placed near Italy’s iconic marble mines and bridges, making for the perfect backdrop to your most incredible custom tracks. Italy also offers the first arena to feature two different levels, with a drop in the middle connecting them, offering new possibilities for amazing creations.
Also, we have more unique livery designs dropping into DIRT 5, for three of our most recognisable off-road machines. Head to the Garage and choose the Ford RS200, Ford Escort RS Cosworth, or the Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2 to see their new livery options!
